If you are an artist like I am you can probably relate to this. Sometimes my friends and family just don’t quite get what I do for a living… but on those special and rare occasions you can show them by creating something special for them. Now it may not seem like a big deal, but when you get to experience their reactions first hand you remember why you wanted to become an artist in the first place. A special birthday cake can be an event all its own…. and if you are like me, and can not bake (I mean NOT AT ALL), all you need is another artist to help you. I have been working with Cakes and Candies by Maryellen for a few years now, and she continues to impress me with her talent. So, just remember, there are opportunities all around you to be creative… don’t forget to take them.
